“Suchetana” adopted a tribal vi;;age namely  “Faridpur” (which is situated near Bolpur-Santiniketan, Birbhum Dist,WB, India) to build up as a model village with an aim of all round development of tribal community such as education, health, hygiene, literacy programme, adult literacy, employment generation programme and tribal culture development. To promote these activities an  integrated agro-farming project, adult literacy centre awareness camp and a culture centre have benn started.One night coaching is proceeding for adult literacy, different awareness camps have been arranged time to time on health & hygiene, mal nutrition, child marraige, green revolution, health check-up camps etc. In this year 2018 an animal husbandry project with Duckery, Goatery, Fishery and vegetable cultivation was started for five(5) self-help groups involving 71 tribal women in that village which is a Tribal Development Project of State Govt. and conducted by Suchetana. Through this project entire tribal community of that village will be socio-economically uplifted because through this project the women of the village will ensure and increase their monthly earnings.
